Lawn Boy Mulching?
To mulch successfully, does the side-discharge opening have to be covered? I inherited a Lawn Boy 6.5 horspower mulcher and it appears the previous owner cut the cover over the side discharge chute so it's open (and gets constantly clogged with grass). Thanks, Larry

Most of those mowers require it to be closed for mulching. The Lawn Boy I had a few years ago had it closed for mulching, so unless they have changed something recently, it should be closed to mulch.
