Welcome to the Photographer's Corner.

This is the place for you if you have any interest in the subject. It is for the absolute beginner as well as the keen enthusiast. It is dedicated to all aspects of AMATEUR still photography.

The purpose of this forum is to be a 'Club' where we help each other to understand and learn about photography.

Please do not hesitate to post even the simplest or most complex question. All are welcome here.

However, we run a 'Safe for Kids' forum. Please, no adult/nude/arty images. Please read the rules of the forum. A link to them is on every page.

Under no circumstances is anyone allowed to give derogatory criticism to anyone's photo. What might be seen as a poor photo by one viewer, to the photographer, it might be seen as a fantastic photo - his pride & joy.
Constructive criticism, sensitively given may be in order if requested by the poster. Remember any form of criticism can be hurtful if taken the wrong way so please be aware of sensitivities.

ALL images posted here are copyright and must not be copied unless you ask the copyright holder first. Do not post or link to any photo that is not yours.

If you need to add an image to your post, please not larger than 800 pixels wide if you can.

From time to time contributers will be adding hints and tips on such things as image resizing....
