philips sa3345

Ok, bought a philips sa3345/37 a few days ago. Music works fine but it realllly really lags on video. The converter software that came with it is a choppy 20fps. So i have been using my own avs suite to convert video. I have gone down to the lowest and least demanding file format i can go without massive pixelation and it still is jittery. I am wondering if there is something that can be done or if i should just get either a Zune Black 8gb or Sansa Fuze 8gb. Would those work better?

Also, yes i have done firmware updates, no i will not sit with choppy playback. Even with the bundled converter it still is laggy. (they play fine on my laptop so i am assuming it is a hardware issue on the player, being the obviously aren't as powerful as say a laptop)

Re: philips sa3345

Hi Blast

I know nothing about your SA3345/37 device but as it is only a few days old and it does not perform correctly, I suggest that you return it to the place where you bought it and ask for help. If the help is not solving the problem, then ask for your money back...

Sorry that I can't offer any other practical advice

Re: philips sa3345

Well, what i was asking is if and when i return it what i should get instead. A Sansa Fuze or Zune (unless you have another video/mp3 player option under $80).
