Re: recommend cellphone to buy

HTC Hero. Runs google android which is essentially an open source iPhone.

I got one from Sprint on Oct 11th when they came out. This is the best phone I have ever owned, much better than Windows Mobile and it has an exchange app so you can tie into a corporate exchange if you need to.

Seamlessly integrates with your gmail in box and calendar, and even shared calendars. My wife also got one and while she has hated every Windows Mobile phone I have owned, she loves her Hero.

To my knowledge Only sprint has them, but the sprint everything plan is one of the best oout there right now.

Re: recommend cellphone to buy

It is just the LCD, but I like it better than my i760 QWERTY keyboard.

phone vibrates and the letter you typed flashes on the screen as typing. I suggest you hit a store with a hero and see if you like the phone. I really, really like my Hero.
