iPod Issue, Play stops frequently
Hello!
I am the owner of an 80 GB iPod Classic. The iPod functions properly, however, in recent months the "Play" button seems to have become very sensitive: The iPod will stop playing music following ordinary handling or sudden movement at unpredictable intervals, even if the "Hold" switch has been toggled to the "On" position. To illustrate the problem, if the iPod is in my pocket, or in my hand, and I am walking or running with it, and playing music, the iPod will frequently stop playback, and I will have to resume playing by pressing play again, even though my fingers have NOT touched the "Pause" button. Often, this will occur in multiple instances within one minute. Is there anything I can do to resolve the issue before making an appointment with an Apple representative? Many thanks for your assistance! Anthony Porreco |

Re: iPod Issue, Play stops frequently
Actually, it seems that the problem had something to do with my headphones (Sennheiser PMX60s). The headphones I was using broke a few weeks after I made this post, and I had to begin using new ones, and I haven't since had the problem!
So, I can in no way explain the problem myself, and think it was idiosyncratic and pertaining to my previous set of headphones. Best, Tony |
