This is the most fitting place i guess
I couldn't think of anywhere else a topic like this would go...?
Alright, I have ring shaped fluorescent light bulb a little bigger in diameter than a CD, and it has a transformer (runs off of 120vac of course), between the light and transformer are 2 green and 2 black wires. There are no markings or words anywhere on it. What do ya'll think the current ratings might be for the outgoing wires? Could it be a step up or a step down transformer? And could 120VAC 10Amps be enough to kill an insect? Because I'm going to make my own bug zapper... Thanks. Perhaps there should be a forum for DIY/Misc. tech support... |
