Canon HG10
I am interested in either photography or video.
I have Photoshop CS3 and Sony Vegas, and have about a 400-500$ budget... I am a beginner to both. I have looked into a Canon HG10, and found one on tigerdirect refurbished, and other sites have them for $600 (affordable) while others have them for over $1000? I have not looked into cameras much, but my father has a Nikon D40. For those of you who have done either photography and graphic design or video and such, which do you recommend or find more enjoyable as a pastime, and less tedious? If this is in the wrong section just tell me or feel free to move it, I felt it could fit in a couple of sections. Oh yeah, can the HG10 take photos, or continuous photos while recording? I suppose thats a two-for-one depending on the quality. I plan on taking summer lessons and self-teaching, I'm young and I plan on going to music college, but I feel in this day and age I should be learning as much as I can, but I don't plan on taking this to a professional level. this doesnt belong in techsupportforum, So i suppose, to just pay attention to this part: I have looked into a Canon HG10, and found one on tigerdirect refurbished for 500, and other sites have them for $600 (not refurbished) while others have them for over $1000? |
