Zen x-fi

i want a new mp3 and ipod is too expensive for me.. budget is $200. Now can Zen x-fi do the ipod's work for me or would i miss something by paying $50 less to buy an ipod? in other words is zen as good as ipod?

The creative is more affordable & can support more music format not restricted to just only one like the itunes. basically the player can play music, videos & pictures. what's interesting is that the xfi allows chatting & syncing of files from pc to player wirelessly. it will be good to decide on one only when you know what you will need the player for the zen is good enough for music listening & video watching

I don't see anything better other than paying more for the brand & design. zen comes with more features and is easier to use since i prefer navigation via buttons instead
