iPod issues...
Ok, I've been trying to find the solution to this and I can't get an answer. Hopefully someone on here will know how to fix this. I have an iPod video, not the newest ones but a 30 GB from about 2 years ago. Lately, when I plug my iPod into my computer, it does not show up in iTunes or on the computer. The iPod will start charging, but it will not come on. Is this a problem that can be solved easily? Thanks.

Re: iPod issues...
Hi there - is your battery on your laptop ok?
I did not replace mine despite the constant warnings from my desktop that the battery life was expiring. It began to mess up all my programmess including itunes. I bought a new battery and everything sorted itself out |

Re: iPod issues...
Hi sampson77,
Have you tried restarting your ipod ?? If you hold down the middle button & the menu button at the top, it will restart your ipod, once you have done that connect your ipod to your pc with the usb & windows might say new device found, installing drivers or something along those lines. When it has done that, itunes should now pick up your ipod again. Hope this helps, Cheers

Re: iPod issues...
Thanks for your responses, guys. Molymoly, I do not use a laptop, I'm not sure how that affects what you suggested. I've also tried resetting my iPod, but not connecting right after restarting. I will take your advice, Prezzy. Thanks.
