Samsung Omnia i900 Loss of Data

Hi, I have an Omnia i900 which I was trying to delete some files as it told me to but somehow it decide to switch itself off and restart and when it restarted it started at factory settings again. I lost all my text msgs, emails, all my settings, photos and videos, music, contacts in my address book etc etc. Everything totally wiped clean. The last time I synced it with my computer was about 4 weeks ago and most of the stuff I would like to have back would have been synced with the computer. So I thought oh well, I'll just sync it with the computer and it will go back to where it was 4 weeks ago. Unfortuantely, Active Sync doesn't even register that the phone has been hooked up to the computer before. Does anyone know a way to get this back or at least partial? I don't know how every single thing on the phone can just simply disappear. I am really concerned as I really wanted all the items on there before. If someone can tell me what to do it would help heaps. :-)
