Handycam help - desperate
I had a Sony Handycam stolen with video clips of my new babies first moments. I had transferred all the files to a hard drive but this was stolen with the camera, the same day. Will I be able to find the files on the laptop I used to transfer the vidos to disk? If so can anybody tell me how? THis will make my year if I can recover them.

What program did you use for the transfer, Windows Movie Maker?
If the hard drive in which you placed the transfered video was stolen, the data must be lost unless you copied the data onto the laptop's hard disk. You can do a search in your system drive. Double click My Computer Open your computer's hard drive Click the search button in the toobar (CTRL + E works too) Select all files and folders when it gives you a choice of what to search for Type *.avi to look for all DV camera files on your hard disk (if any) Good luck! |
