Question Broken BB 8320. Need help with data transfer

Ok, here's the scoop. I have a Blackberry 8320 with T-Mobile and I suffered from a terrible accident that left my phone inoperable and I had to call to get a replacement. I am wondering if there is any way for me to get my information to transfer to my new phone. I have absolutely no use of my old phone, because it will not even turn on when plugged in to an AC outlet.

What I need to figure out is if I can somehow get the data that was stored in my old phone and import it to this one. The only thing I am concerned with is the phone numbers I had that I didn't save to the SIM card.

First of all, is this unit under warranty? A warranty limits your options for recovery. You don't want to void an active warranty.

What are the circumstances of this "terrible accident"?

Can you connect your unit to a computer with a USB or serial cable? Bluetooth won't work in this case because your unit is obviously inoperable. Does your computer recognize a storage device? What is the format of the storage device?
