HD TV Universal Remote Volume Control Issue
I have followed Comcast's tech support's steps to reinitialize the volume control. Now, the volume bar graphic DOES appear and move up and down due to pressing the volume button, but even though the volume graphic indicator moves about, the decible output from the set does not actually change.
I am trying to figure out a problem for an older family member. As such, I do not know the specific model of the set. It is an Olevia brand HD TV hooked up to Comcast HD Digital Cable with HDMI. The Comcast Universal remote is the old 4 digit code variety. However, apparently, everything worked before, so before you say it requires the 5 digit code, it doesn't. I don't know what was done to it to make it stop working though. Any ideas? |
