Noka N 81 | Works But No Display

Can anyone assist

I have a new Nokia N81
The phone battery went flat and i rechaged as normal
i charged and turned the phone on but the display did not go on
the phone can still be used * without display*

Can anyone assist in what this maybe - the phone is 3 weeks old and unscatthed

Hi & Welcome to TSF

Try removing the battery for at least 2 minutes (to make sure any resiual electricity is dissapated). Then replace battery and power up. That should reset things.

If that does not work then do nothing more other than take it back to the place of purchase and ask for a replacement unit. Insist on a replacement, not a repair.
