I need a method of transferring hi8 video on a hi8 tape directly to a pc
Hello everyone at techsupport forum. This wonderful forum has never failed me before so let me state my problem. I have a box full of hi8 video tapes and because my camcorder is more of an American Civil War Confederate Relic. To put it simply, my camcorder lacks any connections to pc's via firewire, usb, or even analog video connections such as composite or s-video. I really need someone to explain a possible method for getting my videos on those medieval hi8's onto a pc. I am willing to buy the best equipment available right now and I don't care if it's made in China or some other country because such problems with defects have never occurred to my gear before. Thanks in advance and please reply as soon as possible. My camcorder is a Sharp VL-E30U(by the way, don't bother using google to look up my camcorder because all you'll get are batteries and generic spec charts) and the tapes I am using are Sony hi8's and other 8mm tapes. Thanks.
