something wrong with the album? or the Ipod?
new problem cropped up with my Ipod, when playing some of my older albums it will only play one song then go back to the menu... Not all of the albums, just some of them. Won't do it in Itunes or Winamp, just on the Ipod.
Rebooting hasn't fixed anything. Haven't tried deleting and reloading the album's as I no longer have the original cd's (they seem to have been lost in a recent move) and they are no longer on my computer. Any suggestions? |

Re: something wrong with the album? or the Ipod?
Do they show up in the music list in the ipod? If so, I don't know why they might not be playing them. Must be a setting; check all the options to make sure you haven't turned on Shuffle Albums. If not in the ipod, but they show up in the library in iTunes, the next time you go to sync the ipod it should add the missing tracks. If they're not on the ipod or on the computer - you're SOL.

Re: something wrong with the album? or the Ipod?
all the songs are there, and it will play them individually, but only that song, then kick back to the menu. And as I said, it's only a few albums that will do this...

Re: something wrong with the album? or the Ipod?
If you tried going to Menu>Settings>Shuffle>Off...then Menu>Albums> (find one that you know skips) > play>then move through each song using the right arrow...
And it still skips, it must be something with how iTunes linked the songs in its database. If that's the case and you don't have the CD's to rerecord them I think you're out of options. Last edited by yustr : 07-12-2008 at 10:14 AM. |
