Which Nokia PC Suite version should be most suitable for the two mobiles I have?

Few months ago I have bought Nokia E51 (eseries mobile) for my partner. The latest PC suite version installed for it is 6.86.9.0.

Today I bought a new N82 (nseries mobile) which came with its own PC suite version 2.0.262.0.

We have a common laptop and, therefore, we want any one of the two PC suites to be installed and remain active in our laptop as having two different versions of PC suite may give conflicting and confusing results.

Which version should we keep? Both versions of PC Suite, when we attempt to update them, say the same thing "You already have the updated version".

If we don't find a solution then we have to keep both the versions alive, however, will that create a problem in a long run?

I have tried to find answer on Nokia's website and forums but no success.

Any advice please!
