video recorder stand.
i have a jvc video recorder bought 2 yrs ago. i am now looking for a camera mount stand to put it on when i record video. i saw a starter kit at frys electronics with one included. would this work with my jvc camera? also wha program can i buy to convert .mov files to windows media files?

Re: video recorder stand.
If it's just a standard tripod, it should work. Those things are universal. You should be able to take your camera in and get them to check it, but you be fine.
There are numerous programs out there that will let you convert movies, a simple google search will find millions.
