Monitor reading "no signal"
I just bought an AcerPower F2 processor. When I hooked it up, my monitor reads "no signal". I checked the hookups, nothing. I hooked up my old processor (Compaq presario) and the monitor worked fine. I've read about "reseating" the video card. Does that just mean checking the connection of the monitor plug on the back of the computer? The seller of the Acer suggests my monitor may be too old to be compatible w/the processor. Isn't there a simpler and less costly solution? I also read something about not having the correct driver. How can I check this if I can't view anything on my monitor?
