lol as always check out www.opencircuits.net and contact them if you want to become a new writer :)

but yeah nvidia has been in the lead since the release of the geforce 2 ultra. so their succes goes far back. They had some lack in business during the start of the directx9 period and the geforce 5 series but they cought up quickly with the top gen geforce 5's and then the geforce 6's just rocked ATI. ATI then reduced prices and pulled good again and now is racking up some pretty high benchmarks with the x1900XT in crossfire.

i think they are at about the same level of performance but ATI's x1xxxx cards might be a little pricier

My money goes to nVidia. All I ask for is about 60FPS, sharp images, great color, and ease of installation/use. As I've said many times before, I stop looking once they start showing FPS over 60 so it makes things easy for me. After that it's just how much do I want to spend.

alot procier. 7900GTX goes for about $500, and X1900XTX goes for $600. if the GTX is better, why get XTX?

(these forums seem to be very one sided on vgas. that is good, because IMO nVidia is better)
