sli ?

i currently have a 6600gt msi...nx6600gt td 128e had it for a year
i want to add another one but it seems that that the new ones look differnt, im pretty sure it will work out but is there anyway i can be sure?

yeap. it also has to be PCIe. you probably already know that lol

make sure that all the numbers match up. check with the manufacturere directly and check the model/serial numbers. they might have redesigned the board a little but aslong as all the components and the backbone structure are the same then there should not be a problem at all.

i would definatly check with the manufacturer first and compare all the numbers of the two cards.

Actually, the latest nVidia drivers even support cards from different manufacturers, so as long as the GPU is the same (ie, both 6600GTs) it should be fine, despite any changes. Just make sure you have the latest drivers.
