Video Problems
Ugh. I am messing around with my video settings too much I guess. Now my video card is screwed up again. I was in ATI Catalyst control center and I thought checking always for vertical lines on would help me fix FFXI. But when I press Apply, the screen turns black. I restarted my computer, and it stays normal while it boots but when the catalyst control center is started, the screen turns black again. I am running off my integrated video card right now, but the screen looks REALLY bad. Anyone know how to fix this?

you should remove the old video drivers in safe mode. Always remove old video drivers in safe mode before installing new drivers. It may be rare but driver conflicts can occur that can cause so much trouble you may end up needing a clean install. Especially if you're already having problems with the current drivers.
