FFXI Video card configure

I have FFXI. When I start play online, the screen is all distorted and not smooth. It looks obvious like it's a video card problem but I could be wrong. I have an ATI Radeon 9250 256mb video card. The screen looks crummy like so:

Help is much appreciated!

P.S. If this should go in the Games section *looks at mods*

Hmm, I only saw a POL screen like that when trying to use it on a system with just 2MB of VRAM and no 3D support beyond a tiny bit of OpenGL.

Visit www.ati.com and download the latest Radeon drivers for your os. Chipset drivers may also be necessary to enable advanced AGP features.

On a personal note, if you're new to the game I must warn you that the economy is screwed BAD. Real money trade has hit the game like a plague and the GM's are doing squat to fix it.

Thanks for the Help. I am downloading the latest driver. I am not exactly new to the game, but i messed with my video card. Plus I have an unupdated driver. Ill have to see if it works after the driver. Ill let you know!
