Radeon 9800 Pro
The MSI motherboards I have used (865PE Neo) have the AGP set at 1.5 V, but the Radeon information says that 8x AGP runs at 0.8 V. I can't change this in BIOS as it's 1.5 V. What gives? Does the card adjust it's own voltage somehow or what?
I have had one burn out and another going dodgy. Cheers |

1.5 volts is the proper value in the BIOS even when you're running at 0.8 volts. The 0.8 volts is actually generated by the termination resistors from 1.5 volts. If you don't know what termination is then don't worry about it. The important part is that 1.5 volts is the correct value for the BIOS. The rest is taken care of automatically.
