Hello.. ...
Recently installed new motherboard, power supply, fan, cdrom, dvdrom drives into Quantum Series ATX Mid-Tower case. Got past problem of Windows not loading up [even in safe mode]. Installed Windows XP Pro svc 2. Updated Nvidia drivers for GEFORCE 6800 GT video card. Well.. .... Display now appears green tinted. Red appears nearly black. Attempted adjust brightness + contrast on Compaq 7550 plug+play monitor. Messed about with Nvidia control panel. Attempted load other color profiles. Changed settings around on medium to high. Attempted to roll back drivers to previous version. Still lack of red. Updated to latest version again. No dice. Found other monitor in basement. Connected. Same issues. Opened hatch. Took out video card + re-seeted in case loose somehow. Switched power connector going to videocard. So.. ..... currently frustrated + hoping not necessary invest in another videocard. Please help if you have any ideas. |

Sounds like the output is busted. Have you tried using a DVI->VGA adapter?
