New comp not working.

Recently I built a new comp and when I try to play games it runs well for around 30min - an hour then all of a sudden the screen messes up and the comp crashes. Anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this? Here are my specs:

EVGA 7800 GT CO
AMD 3800+
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813123236
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145579
Power Supply: http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=26350

Another strange thing is that if I plug in the side panel fan, when the comp boots up it has major artifacting.

Thanks for any help.

your power supply is borderline

but run it with a fan blowing in and see if it resolves the issue
might be too much heat on one of the components -video card - ram - cpu
