I own an X800 All In Wonder XT, and I use it to play my PS2 on my computer - it has always worked fine, but recently, it stopped recieving a video signal - the audio still comes through. I have tried switching cables, everything. Any tips? Also, are there any other programs I can use to acces the All In Wonders inputs and outputs? I am dissatisfied with the Ati software suite, and would like to try something else. Thanks in advance!

There is a problem with the 'video in' somewhere. I'm unfamiliar with how the new All in wonders function, but when I had one a while back, I had to run the sound throught the sound in port. Therefore you still getting sound is completely unrelated to not getting video (if it still hooks up that way). An obvious precaution would be to double check all you connections for loose cables, misported cables, etc. on the computer and PS2. Try also to connect something else to it to make sure it isn't your PS2 that is the problem. Next, thuroughly go through your software suite and try to find anything about video in and make sure it is enabled, turned on, whatever.
I am unsure of any other software suites, but I'm sure ATI wouldn't license something like that so anything that is out there is probably produced purely by the developers own merit. If you have checked all cables, checked all settings, and another device won't show up on your monitor through v-in, then the v-in feature may have been damaged somehow. last minute thought....try to update the driver also. If that doesn't work, completely uninstall the driver and reinstall.

definitely done all that... and no, the audio is built in the same cable, and you don't have to hook it up to the sound card...I know the PS2 works, I tried it on a TV, and it worked fine...I also tried something else into the All In Wonder, same thing, garbled/no video signal...I tried updating the drivers, I even went so far as to reformat (my computer was virus ridden, etc. etc. as it was and was overdue)...nope, to no avail...but it did work fine a week ago..so I don't know? I checked all the cables and everything, no problem there..any other ideas?
