What video card should i buy?
Hello,
Im in a bit of a hole, i was going to buy a Sapphire Radeon X800 GT for $184.95 (CDN) but now i hear of people having problems with that card, is there any other card i can get for or under the same price that i won't have problems with? I'm buying the card from here --> www.memoryexpress.com My Motherboard is an MSI Amethyst-M with a PCI-E Video slot With the card im also trying to buy a 430 Watt Power supply from Antec for $80 CDN, because the one i have right now is only 230 Watts Thanks. |

the best video card would be the 6800 GS it is a little more but a better card
it would cost u 250$ CDN http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.p...ctID=6746&SID= or u could get a x 800 gto2 fireblade for 199$cdn http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.p...ctID=6965&SID= Last edited by DR.Death; 03-04-2006 at 05:50 PM. |

In reply to #2
That series does look good but i'd personally like to stay on the Radeon side of things. My cousin had a horrable experiance with Nvidia, and there tech support decided not to help him, and me, being an idiot, will probally run into problems. In reply to #3 Both those cards look like they will give great performance but they are still both a little high, im trying to buy a 430Watt power supply, 1GB of RAM and a video card on $400 CDN, i would definetly go with that x 800 gto2 fireblade if i could fit in into the budget, i cannot go any higher than $400 for all 3 of those items though.
