ATI Radeon 9250 problems
I had a problem earlier today where I had to disable my Radeon 9250 and re-enable my Intel 82845G Integrated Graphics chipset. Since I reinstalled all of my Radeon drivers and once again removed the 82845G's drivers, all I had to do was go back into the BIOS and switch it from Integrated back to PCI. However, it doesn't matter whether I select Integrated or PCI, it ALWAYS puts the graphics through the old monitor plugin for my Integrated chipset. Since the Radeon has the drivers installed, I end up with 640X480 resolution and 4 bit colour (I'm in that right now). I try to disable the integrated graphics but everytime windows starts up, it detects the integrated chipset and uses it. Even though the BIOS has PCI set as the Primary Video Adapter, it still tries to use the Integrated. Why would it do this? And how can I get my Radeon to start back up again?

Okay, I've tried repeatedly to go into the BIOS and select PCI as the Primary Display Driver. It still only gives me any display through the Integrated monitor port, however. What this tells me is that the BIOS isn't actually doing anything to the settings. Truthfully, what happened is that the Radeon settings were on a resolution that was too high for my monitor. I had to restart in SAFE MODE to see anything, but it wouldn't let me do anything in the Radeon's control centre. So, I uninstalled all the ATI stuff, and tried to reinstall the Intel. Since it worked, I assumed it was on Integrated (since the monitor was working on that port). When I did everything necessary to reinstall the Radeon and I went into the BIOS, I was surprised (and annoyed) to find that it was still set on PCI. I think safe mode has screwed up my computer to completely ignore the PCI completely. Am I correct, and if so, how do I correct this? (Keep in mind, that if I sound stupid, that it is true that I am very amateur with computer hardware)

I've tried getting windows to accept that there's a display adapter on the PCI with Add Hardware, but it won't let me use the Radeon 9250's drivers. I tried phoning ATI Tech Support, but the line's always busy right up to closing time at 7pm. Can anyone help me at all with this problem?
