Am I missing something?

Ok... I've been forever tweaking computers because windows likes to do its own thing often, as you all well know. But it seems like there is a hic-up still somewhere and I cant seem to find it. I've upgraded almost everything and wonder if Im just at this computers limit maybe? Computer is a 2.5 Ghz P4, with 512x2 pc2700 ram, BFG 5500FX O.C. video card 256m, sb live 24 bit sound card. My first question is this... my mother board will not accept a video card with an AGP interface, therefore i'm stuck with PCI. Is this my problem? anti-alias is off, antisotropsoifjaslfjasfdlk is off, :) vert sync is off. Just downloaded the newest driver from Nvidia, uninstalled the old one, and restarted it. VGA controller keeps wanting to install on a reboot, so i just disable it in the device manager? At any rate... only other problem that i know of is newdotnet is still hangin around my registry, but other than that i'm at a loss. Any ideas? thanks.

Your CPU and video card are about the same class, but the PCi interface will be what slows you down the most.
