What did you have previously? If the old drivers weren't completely uninstalled then that could be causing the problems you're experiencing.

update

heres a little update for you I got it working just fine after I had to fix a windows system file but what I had to do was reinstall the motherboard drivers and thats when i started having moe problems. now when I boot up I can login but if its on its highest resolution and color then it freezes right when everything starts to load, but the lower the resolution and color the longer the time it will take before it freezes. so there has to be some conflict btwn the motherboard and its drivers and the videocard and its drivers. plz help if you know anything

psu?

what is your power supply rated, and what brand? If it's not big enough, it can cause all sorts of probs.

The error message may hold the answer. If you can tell us what it says, even just a little, we can tell you what needs doing.
