I installed this on a new computer and when i boot, the monitor says no signal. However, the fan is moving on the video card.

Does it also have an AGP slot?

Hmm, I'm not fully up on PCI-E tehcnology, but I do know that most AGP/PCI boards require that you tell the BIOS which slot to use for video.

Your board has a PCI and PCIe slot on it. The 5200FX card has two 'key slots' making it theoretically possible to put it into the PCIe slot and have it fit. I have a FX5200 and they only come in PCI and AGP and knowing that you know you didn't get an AGP, then maybe you put it into the PCIe slot by accident.

Good luck!

This is ofcourse based on just looking at a picture of your mobo.
