ATI Remote Wonder 2

I don't remember when this happened, like a week ago. Everytime I start my computer, I always get a message:

"Unable to load ATI Language Software, re-install"

I want to uninstall it, but I get an error from "Add or Remove Programs":

Quote:
Internal Failure
Error Number: 0x80040707
Description:
Quote:
ATIRW2
Access Denied
Urgh, I hate that, I just want to un-install, but I'm getting that strange error, then it won't continue un-installing. I'm clueless what the error is, I look it up, and there's so many different problems concerning 0x80040707, Acrobat Reader, WINDVD, and so on.

It's more of a nuisance than a problem, when I start up, I just click the "ok" button. However, since I've been installing and re-installing my video card software, I normally get that Error number. I asked about it before, but the topic didn't really relate to the Error number, and now, I'm wondering if some of the software I was trying to install, never installed because of that error. Does anyone know . . . how . . . or what . . . how to fix that stupid thing!

Yes ATI software is a pain sometimes. Almost always.

You didn't say if you have other ATI products installed but I guess you do.
ATI on there WEB site has some utilities to remove all ATI software but if you have other ATI hardware installed it would remove that to.

What you might want to try is reinstall the Remote Wonder 2 with either your copy or one off the ATI WEB site. Then you can try an uninstall of Remote Wonder 2.

Good Luck,
Rich

Kind of why I posted.

When I installed from the CD, the same error number pops up. I can't un-install it because it won't let me. I don't get the option to Repair, maybe the CD didn't have that for the installation. So, I can just keep re-installing over and over, which I did

Maybe I'm not doing a good job wording this, I'm probably going in circles here. Does this clear anything up?
