i need a new grapics card

current ly hav som cheap raedon and i want a really nice 1 by next summer. prolly $250-300 range. its PCIx16

Heres some choices I would pick:

eVGA Geforce 7800GT 256MB - $299

SAPPHIRE Radeon X850XT 256MB - $289

BFG Tech Geforce 6800GT 256MB - $289

also, keep in mind, that by the time summer rolls around, there will be a newer generation of cards..so you could consider those once they come out.

prolly getting evga. i like geforce, and evga is pretty good. also, ima get som speakers so extra $$$ would b nice =). thx all. if u find nemore, pls show me XD

do i need to hav a SLI compatible mobo for the evga? i want that 1, but i dont hav SLI

SLI is only if you want to use two cards together. Already your budget restricts you from that. If you don't want or need it, then don't worry about it. One PCI-16x is enough.

lol it doesnt matter nemore. im getting a new mobo, the gigabyte GA-8N SLI so it doesnt matter =D. thx again for your help

ATI's are nice, but GeForce's are better! They're also more widely supported among the gaming community!
