??? Sli ???

Say I buy two SLI graphics cards, Graphics Card A and Graphics Card B.
Graphics card A gets a benchmark score of 5000.
Graphics card B gets a benchmark score of 7000.

Will Graphics card B lower its speed to Graphics card A's speed and still outperform Graphics card B on its own?

Can anyone give me an estimate of what the new benchmark score would be?
Above 7000 or Below 7000.

Or is it better just getting two 6000 cards instead?

Sorry for the "exam question" feel to the post.

SLI is designed to work with 2 identical cards.
It would be better to get a matched set.

Yup. SLI and CrossFire solutions require that you use the same exact cards from the same exact brand. Mixing them won't work.
