Looking for a wide screen video card

Does anybody know of a video card that can support wide screen HD screen. What I have is a 42" plasma that I want to use for presentations and since the computer I am using has a genric video card it just streches the images and does not make it true wide screen. Any input would be great thanks.

If you go to 'display properties' you might be able to choose a screen resolution that is a 16X9 aspect ratio(for example1280X720) instead of the standard 4X3.

If shopping for a new video card, just look for available resolutions that are of the widescreen 16X9 variety. My ATI AWI 9600 has the 1280X720 available. It also has a 1280X768 available...not sure what that is for.
