i too have problems with artifacts when playing games and on the desktop,and sometimes i dont see nothing when i play a game just sound,but what i have seen is that the cable thats connected from the gfx card to the monitor only has 14 pins,i see that one pin is missing,but on the other side of the cable there is one missin too,exactly the opposite one is missing,you think that may cause the problem?so its the cable,each end has 15 pins,but im missing one at each side,help is much appreciated.

i'ts normal for a monitor cable to have 1-3 pins gone
