OpenGl ??

Hi Folks !

New to all this and hope you can help me.

When trying to play "Grand Prix Legends" or "Star Wars Jedi Knights ll Jedi Outcast" I get a message that says "cannot find opengl.dll" or "cannot load opengl subsystem ".
As far as i can tell XP does not support opengl. Does anyone know how to get this to work or will i have to get a new graphics card or return to win 98.

ps. IF there is a fix i would really appreciate clear instructions. Remember i'm a newbie.

Current setup is Win XP Pro with ATI Radeon 7000 ve card

I don't even think Radeon 7000 has a T&L Unit

XP does have OpenGL, or at least it should

Go to www.ati.com and download the latest drivers

if the latest drivers do work, I can garantuee those games will play like crap. I was able to get Max payne to play once on a Radeon 7000 (Using Software D3D), and it didn't play well

The Radeon 7000 has like one rendering pipeline

Radeon 7000 - Link.

I see no mention of a hardware TnL unit which means that card will perform VERY poorly if at all with modern games. I'd recommend a nice 9600 series card as they have DirectX 9 support and have rather decent performance for their age.
