X850 Pro or X800XL?
Hey people! im new, but i wanted some opinions.... I need to buy a new video card and its one of these choices below....
Sapphire Radeon X850 Pro with TriXX or... Sapphire Radeon X800XL Ultimate (its the same price as the regular X800XL at Newegg with the stock cooler) Which, in your opinion would you pick??? heres a review for all X800 Series cards Legion Hardware ..::.. A look at the ATI Radeon X800 Series Note that the drivers for that review are old, so there will be better framerates then what are posted.... |

According to this very reliable site, the cards are very similar in spec. TheX850 might be faster on the core and the mem but it has only 12 pipelines whereas the 800XL has 16. The above website lists its cards in order of how good the cards are and but since there's no definate way to tell, and they are both together on the list, I would personally go for the one with 16 pipes.

i also recommend the ATI X800XL videocard. more pipelines and the performance of the videocard is awesome. the ATI X800XL is consider a good videocard for the bang of the buck.
i agree and the performance of it is as good as the 6800GT. |
