6600GT weird problems...

This morning I bought a MSI 6600GT for my computer. Once installed (worked fine in Windows), when I started several games the 3D stuff looked like this:

So well, I called the helpdesk and they told me the card was bad. So I went back to the shop and returned it. Then I bought an XFX 6600GT in another shop. Excactly the same problem...

My specs:

AMD Athlon 2600+
Main bord: AsusA7N266VX
768 MB RAM

A weird thing is that when I start up the computer, a New hardware wizard comes up for my TFT screen, it looks like this after a while:

Hope anyone had an idea about whats wrong...?

Thanks in advance!

I am a step further. I figured that Call of Duty 1 works fine. But newer games that use later DirectX versions look like the screenshot in the post above. I tried reinstalling DX 9.0c but no results, DXdiag is not showing any errors either. Please anyone??
