Display - Help needed and appreciated

Ok. So I get this VPU Recovery error, I temporarily fixed it before, but it's no longer working. I've tried the following methods, turning off VPU recovery, updated drivers, switched to different display colors, switched display drivers, none seemed to work. Today my problem got worse, I get the same error while playing games like Counter-Strike which never did before.

Your thread was more of a video card issue than a driver issue so I moved it to the video cards section where it would get more attention.

If VPU recover starts going off after no software changes and then gets worse then it's often hardware problems rather than software problems. What kind of hardware are you running? (video card, motherboard, CPU, RAM, etc.) A DXDiag report would also be helpful in checking out your drivers. You do that as follows:
1) Click Start.
2) Click Run.
3) Type in [/i]dxdiag[/i].
4) Click OK.
5) Click Save All Information.
6) Save the dxdiag.txt file.
7) Include the dxdiag.txt file as an attachment to your next post.

Try running it with the case's side panel removed and a small fan blowing over the components. This may just be a heat issue.
