Refresh Rate Importance
How significant is the refresh rate setting on video card and monitor for performance ?
When I set my refresh rate to 85 on my card does it bottom out to 75 which is the highest rating on my LCD Monitor (Samsung 193P). I heard that you are limited by the Monitor's refresh rate? True/untrue/Comments??? Thanks AJ |

On an LCD it doesn't matter. LCDs don't have refresh rates. On a CRT you want it as high as your hardware can go for ergonomic reasons. 75+ is usually comfortable for most people. Some need 85+.
