Problem with 7800 drivers and BF2

I recently bought a 7800, and i tried to run BF2 on it and sometimes when i'm in the menu the game will randomly close itself and take me back to the desktop, and when I'm joining a server it either does the same or i get the blue screen where it says something about nv4_disp.dll or PFN_LIST_CORRUPT..

I've already tried reinstalling BF2, replacing the drivers with older ones, and uninstalling the card in safe mode and reinstalling the drivers.. any other suggestions/help would be much appreciated

new nvidia drivers came out with the 7800gtx, they added greater support for my card the 6200 agp and both 7800's be sure that u have dled and installed those.

if that doesnt work, be sure you have bf2 1.02 cuz the 7800 came out after bf2 and that fixed directx9 files for bf2

if your still not anywhere, wait for a tsf response

Uninstall your drivers completely and reinstall the newest version. If it still gives you trouble, stop by www.guru3d.com and pick up Detonator Destroyer. It goes in and cleans out any remaining nVidia driver files to ensure a clean installation later.
