6800GT 256Mb PCI-x
I have the above grahpics card a "XFX Geforce 6800GT 256Mb", and while i was setting up windows xp x64 bit edition, it configured the graphics card automatically, and has turned it weird colours, not only on video's and games but all the time,
i have read the stick post and done everythink it says there with no luck, here is a pic of my problem, as any mozilla users now the back button is a solid green as where as this one is kinda lime green, and it cannot display red at all as i showed by searching for the england flag it just displays as blue my system spec is: Gigabyte K8n - 9 Ultra motherboard Corsair 2Gb DDr 400 (4x512mb) 2x 160 SATA maxtor diamondmax 10 amd 64 3500 (venice) any one know of any solutions? is my graphics card knackerd? could it be anythink else? That screen capture looks fine to me. Check the cable on the monitor, and if possible, test it with a known good monitor.

yes the monitor is fine, ive been using it for over a year now im i have checked it with other pc's, the video cable is fine, :|
also thinking about it that screen capture would look fine, becuase its only my display that changing colours, so when i print screen it would save it as its orginal colour, so when seen on a good monitor it looks normall. Last edited by knighty; 08-19-2005 at 01:16 AM. |
