Video card wacked?

I can barely see my screen. Updating drivers didn't work. Do i purchase a new card? I have a Geforce 4200 TI....64mb.....In a Dell 8200. What will fit in this machine, work with BF2 and cost less than 130?

Plz, help, I am going blind trying to type this for all the lines on my screen.

Have you tried another monitor on this system? I would try this before I bought anything.

No I haven't because I can manually bring up th emonitor menu and I see it clearly. Do you think I should at least try it first?

yes, because the monitor menu does not test the signal part of the monitor.

Just so you know, BF2 will struggle on an old 64MB graphics card. I would recommend getting a Radeon 9800Pro or one of the newer X600 models. Either one is under $130, and both are very fast.

Remember, he has a Dell and those things are as picky as they come.
