ati cards

I use my computer for the internet and some cad. I purchased an
ati aiw 9600xt because I got a good deal. Now i'm looking at the radeon 9800 pro. Which card is better. Should i even bother changing my card?

If you do mostly Internet work and CAD design then there's no need to upgrade. If you want to do some serious CAD you may want to consider something like an nVidia Quadro. Those are workstation-level design cards. I've also seen software out there that can trick your geForce4 into thinking it's a Quadro and thus givig it incredible power in mainstream 3D (but not really games). The biggest difference in the 9600 and 9800 is that the 9800 has 8 pixel pipelines whereas the 9600 has 4. The only time you'd really notice is with games, not in CAD.
