which video card

wow this is a great forum ! I am a newby at computers, my computer is about 5 years old and it seems to not work well with games or music videos. I would like to upgrade my video card so I can enjoy some gamers.

my computer specs-

hp pavillian 7855
pentium 3
127mb ram
windows ME
60 gb harddisk
1 gig. speed

can you suggest what I would need? thank you

The problem with your PC is
1) the PSU used it in limits your choice of video card
2) the motherboard in it has no AGP slot - so you are stuck with a PCI card

This is one of the few that might be an option:

I'd combine that with another 128Mb of system RAM and that would probably the best you could get out of that machine. If you want to really improve graphic performance you need a new board with AGP - and a faster CPU, chipset, RAM.

card looks good

ok that looks good to me but the operating sys. says 2000 or XP , I have windows ME, will this card work with windows ME ?

No that card should work under ME - its the drivers that determine that. I believe the reason it says that is that the included driver disk only comes with the drivers for XP/2000. If you want to install the card in an ME system you need to either get the ME drivers from the sapphire page:
