Upgrading my Dell, Best PCI card?

What is the best PCI card? MY dell only has PCI slots and i am not going to upgrade my mobo or any thing. PLz help. Thanx.

This 256MB GeForce FX5600 at $147 is the fastest new PCI video card I'm aware of. It sucks up quite a bit of power and so may strain your power supply.

This 256MB Radeon 9250 at $60 has 128 bit memory (memory bandwidth info here) so it's about as quick as you're going to get for anything $100 or under. You're stuck with getting 256MB boards to make sure you don't get 64 bit memory systems.

Geforce 5700LE is also anouther good choice to consider. $104 a little expensive but you might be able to find it cheaper if you look around. It aslo has a 128bit iinterface. Only 128MB of ram but that wont make any difference in a card at this level. Something that require 256ram also going to require a video card more powerful then that offer on PCI.

Unfortunately the 5700LE listed above by mgoldb2 is listed incorrectly by newegg and really has 64 bit memory. The APOLLO 5700LE listed at newegg also has 64 bit memory. The only 128 bit memory 5700LEs which are still available are the 256MB models unless you can find a really old PCI 5700LE.
