ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and GeForceFX 5200 woes

Hi,
I`m trying to run a XFX GeForceFX 5200 (256 PCI) with an ATI Radeon 9800Pro (128MB AGP) to allow 3 monitors but the system does nothing but crash and doesn`t output any signal from either the DVI or VGA port on the XFX card. Also when trying to alter any of the settings Windows crashes with the Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078) (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=293078) -I've taken thier advice and set the hardware acceleration to non but that doesn't seem to help at all...

Any Ideas?

Does the GeForceFX card behave without the ATI card in the system?

Is one card AGP and one PCI?
