Viewing PC on LCD.
Hey everyone,
I have just finished building a PC out of old spare parts that I had laying around in the workshop. I wanted it so I could have a PC in my room that I can view on my 22" Sharp Aquos LCD TV. On my Sharp LCD, I have some RCA plugs and an S-video connection to choose from. In my PC, I have an old nVidia GeForce 6600LE with a VGA and a DVI-I output. I done some research on the nVidia 6600 and I found this link. http://sewelldirect.com/DVI-to-Compo...Cable-10ft.asp It is a DVI to component video cable. But it states on the site that, "This Cable works only if your DVI port outputs YPbPr, the standard component video signal. If you're not sure, please contact your graphics card or computer manufacturer first." Will I be able to use this cable with my setup? If not, are there any other suggestions for things I could use? Cheers :) |

Re: Viewing PC on LCD.
Well for one are the rca ports HD ports on the back of your monitor? It looks like your card will only display HD through the S-Video port.
